Evan Howard was born on Long Island and raised in South Florida. He began his journey into film at the age of thirteen, when he started studying at Actors Preforming Arts Academy in Coral Springs. After a hiatus of almost eleven years he re-found his passion and won a few local acting awards, including best supporting actor and best actor. This inspired him to try his hand behind the camera. While studying and developing his technique, he wrote, edited and directed three short films, including his award winning thesis film The Thrilling (Runner Up Florida Favorite Tally Shorts Film Festival and Audience Program Favorite, Overall Audience Favorite and Best of Fest from the Red Shorts Film Festival all in 2014), a PSA and documentary. Upon graduating he has worked on a number of short films as secondary camera/editor (Tahiti, the Stakeout, and Tie) and write/director/editor (Fight/Flight, Zoë and The Worst Clown).
