Mariana Repetto was raised on the country side to a family of artists. She began acting at a very young age in school performances and theater groups; and graduated with a degree in drama education. She was nominated for Outstanding Performance in Sam Shepard's ¨A Lie of the Mind¨, where she played Beth, a brain-damaged young girl trying to fight her way through recovery. Mariana has also portrayed Shakespeare's Juliet, "Romeo and Juliet"; Arthur Miller's Catherine, "A View from the Bridge", Lewis John Carlino's Connie, "Snow Angel"; Eugene O'Neil's Ruth Atkins, "Beyond the Horizon"; and Tennessee Williams's Laura Wingfield, "The Glass Menagerie". In the drama "A World Away", Mariana stars as an immigrant girl trying to cross the border with her boyfriend, in hopes of a better life. Mariana is also an animal right's activist.
