Wigner Duarte

Wigner Baldwin Duarte is an actor, writer and director. At a very young age he fell in love with cinema in his native country Domincan Republic. He moved to New York City at 11 years old. Upon graduating as valedictorian of his high school he earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film production from The City College of New York. There he would make his firsts short films, such as "Life On Wheels" and "The Man In The Black Suit." He would then go on and pursuit his Masters degree in Film and Video production with a concentration in directing from The City College Of New York. It's during that time where he crafted his first feature film "Buscando Al Zorro" (2018) which had a theatrical release in April 2019. He is now in pre-production for his second feature "The Other Side of the Sun".
