Bessie Amato

I am an NYC based actor! Being an actor is all I can ever remember wanting. I had a lot of help from a lot of super heroes along the way. I'm Sicilian and might have had a big family, but the reality is, I grew up in seven different foster homes. While some may have sympathy for a situation I could not control as a child, I believed that it changed me for the better. At the very core, I know that one should fight for his or her dreams. I also know that helping others and asking for help are at the center of accomplishing great things. I learned these lessons at a very young age. The industry is challenging but ultimately fulfilling in a way I could never have imagined. It is my great dream to be a fully realized artist and pass on my knowledge to underprivileged kids who need a shoulder to lean on and someone to remind them that any dream can be achieved if you work hard and ask for help. I want to be the next great super hero!
