Alexandra Dionelis is a half Chilean, half Greek actress from Drama Studio London. Alexandra was born in Brussels but lived her early years in Athens before moving to Concepción, Chile, where she grew up spending all her weekends and holidays at Fundo Tarpellanca, the farm owned by her grandfather. Horse riding and adventure were a deep part of her life in her childhood and teenage years. At the age of 16 her family moved to Santiago, where she started her acting studies. Whilst finishing school, Alexandra went to numerous acting academies, finishing with the renowned Academia de Actuación Fernando González Mardones evening workshops. She also studied commercial engineering at the PUC in Santiago, Chile, and after 5 years she moved to London and fully focused on her acting career by enrolling in 2 years at Drama Studio London. Her recent stage work includes a piece of new writing about the Argentinian genocide at The Calder Theatre, for which she was interviewed by BBC World Service. She's filming In the Name of Blood (Passing Clouds), in 2015 with Rebel Without Crew Films. Her recent film work includes the Feature 'POV', Premiered at The Genesis Cinema with now distribution in America and The UK, The Unfathomable Mr. Jones with The Soob Productions, Yerma Redux, 2013, where she was playing Lola, the second lead. And several leads in short films, most recent Karina, nominated for the Zafaa awards, best short film category.
