Madison DeVries

Madison DeVries has had a passion for acting since about the age of 8, when she was cast as the Praying Mantis in her school's production of "The NOT Very Secret Garden" (2005). Since then, she's continued on a single-track path in honing her craft, training at the University of Southern California (2014-18), studying abroad at the renowned British American Drama Academy (2017) during her time there. She is continuing her education post-graduation at Krater Studios with Jen Krater and Paolo Pagliacolo (2018-). Maddie's goal as an artist is to reflect - to provide a mirror for what we want to see and live, and maybe more importantly, for what we wish to hide. Art is crucial not only for enjoyment and relaxation, but for deepening our understanding of self, for exploring the depths of humanity in all it's strengths and weaknesses, and for disintegrating hypocrisy through visually exposing our differences, and through those, our sameness. We are all filled with life and adventure, hopes, dreams, and history. Maddie's hope, is to bring you to the screen, whether or not it's your story. Maddie's deepest desire is to create a tidal wave of empathy through stories of truth.
