Sara Nurmi

Fluent in Russian and Finnish, Sara's upbringing was both multicultural and infused with a love for the arts. Born and raised in Finland to an Azerbaijani mother and Finnish father, she started performing at an early age, playing the violin since age four and traveling overseas for concerts during her childhood. As a teenager, she moved to Helsinki to study at the Pop&Jazz Conservatory to pursue her love for singing, and at one point auditioning for Finnish Idol - Finland's version of American Idol - and making it to the semi-final round. Following graduation and starring in lead roles at local theaters in Finland, she realized acting was a bigger passion than a hobby, and decided to move to New York City, where she completed a two-year acting program at the prestigious William Esper Studio in Manhattan. Since then she has kept on working on her craft, booked roles in indie films and commercials and worked as a songwriter for producers and artists. Sara now resides in Los Angeles, CA and is a dual EU and US citizen.
