With over 15 years of experience as a multi-camera television director, Dominic Martinez has directed nationally and internationally televised broadcasts in English and Spanish. The genres of talk, sports, news, and musical performances are included in the hundreds of episodes of live television Martinez has directed for the networks of NBC, Univision, Unimas, and Telemundo. Martinez previously held a recurring role as one of the directors for Univision's annual "Teleton USA" hosted by television icon Don Francisco. In the early 2010's Martinez worked in Miami at Univision's headquarters where he blocked fresh looks for 3 of the network's long running programs - El Gordo y La Flaca, Primer Impacto, and Al Punto with Jorge Ramos. Martinez also directed the 2012 New Year's Eve special for Univision network. Prior to pandemic related changes, Martinez had been selected to direct NBC's Golden Globes 2021 Red Carpet special. He has served as the director for sports talk show Going Roggin since 2017. In 2021 NBC worked with Martinez to direct and design the look for the 2021 Los Angeles edition of The Olympic Zone, which served as the pre-show to the evening prime time coverage of the Tokyo Olympic Games. Martinez returned to direct The Olympic Zone in 2022 for the Beijing Olympic Games. In 2022 Martinez directed the Los Angeles Mayoral debate from Universal Studios for NBC and Telemundo.
