Chelsea grew up acting, whether on the stage or with her voice. Between stage performances such as Into The Woods, Once Upon a Mattress, The Wizard of Oz and independent productions through the Freelance Players, Chelsea was the singer and storyteller for a series of children's musical recordings called KidSongs. She also narrated and modeled for National Geographic travel projects and was a narrator and voice actor in museums, aquariums and exhibits across the world. She recorded a series of audio help discs to assist people transitioning through various, important moments in their lives such as having children, sending kids to college, dealing with illness or embracing retirement. Chelsea transitioned from performance to work as an assistant editor on music videos and documentaries for artists such as Michael Bublé, John Legend, Green Day, Finger Eleven, My Chemical Romance, T.I., Gwen Stefani and others before the medium was all but dissolved in 2005. Chelsea is also an active outdoors person and a co-leader climbing mountains and paddling waterways with the Appalachian Mountain Club.
