Jim Hustwit is an award winning English composer, music producer and songwriter, scoring for Film, TV and Theatre He's has been commission by Freemantle Media (The Week The Landlords Moved In- 2017), Working Title (Yonderland additional music - 2016) and Dragonfly TV (One Born Every Minute series) for programs on The BBC, Channel 4 and Sky One. Working with the National Theatre and Garrick Theatre, he worked as musical director for the Olivier nominated 'This House' (2013) alongside Oscar winner Stephen Warbeck. He later went on to compose the music for 'Macbeth' (2014) and Consensual (2015) with the National Youth Theatre, and was the associate musical director for Rupert Goold's production of 'Merchant of Venice' (2014) at the Almeida Theatre. Film commissions include the score for Lucky Chicken (2015) directed by Gulliver Moore, 'The Newboy' (2014) directed by Christine Lalla and 'Go on my Son' directed by Nick Coupe. He has produced library music for publishers including EMI, Universal and Westone and Endemol. As a solo artist he won the People's Music Award's - Best Male Solo Artist (2011).
