Italian-born composer, Nicola Lerra is a composer and keyboard synthesizer player, founder of the Film Music Score company, a group of composers chosen by him to create soundtracks for film products. He's recognized as one of international most innovative musical talents and his works are notable for integrating electronic music sounds with traditional orchestral arrangements. Known for "The New Era" soundtrack, composed and dedicated to the Final Trailer of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) , My Grandfather Was a Cherry Tree (2015) , In the Name of a God (2015) , A Special Day (2016). Raised and educated mainly in Italy, he began piano studies at the age of seven, privately continuing his studies without ending. Nevertheless, he took an interest in electronic musical synthesizers in the 2010. At only sixteen years old he composed his first scores for orchestra and at twenty-one years old the musical company in Portland released his first album entitling it "Time". He makes his first appearance on TV at the age nineteen years old performing at the piano for a major Italian charity, the Telethon. He has collaborated with the Bournemouth University (UK) for the creation of an important advertising spot about violence against women "It Could Be You (2014)" . His biggest hits are "The New Era" album , composed and dedicated to the Final Trailer of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) , "My Grandfather was a Cherry Tree" album, composed for the animated film My Grandfather Was a Cherry Tree (2015) , multi award winning and selected in the list of the seventy best short animation of the world at the 89th Academy Awards Oscars.
