Victoria Falconer (she/her) is an award-winning musical director, composer, live performer, theatre maker and multi-instrumentalist. Victoria has worked as a musical director in cabaret, drag and musical theatre in Australia and the UK, with artists and companies including Courtney Act, Roddy Bottom (Faith No More), Bourgeois and Maurice, the State Theatre of South Australia, Darlinghurst Theatre Company (Sydney) and Black Swan State Theatre Company (Perth).She is music director on a new musical theatre piece commissioned by Rebel Wilson for the Australian Theatre for Young People (The Deb, 2022), with book written by Hannah Reilly and music by Megan Washington. Victoria composes and arranges music for live theatre, dance and film. Her music has been on stages in the UK including Hackney Empire, Soho Theatre, HOME Manchester, the River Stage at the National Theatre, and at the Southbank Centre, London. In Australia her original music has been heard on stages including the Malthouse Theatre in Melbourne, BATS in Wellington (NZ), and the Famous Spiegeltent at the Arts Centre Melbourne among others. As a comedy cabaret artist and theatre maker, Victoria's work has won awards and received critical acclaim since 2011 at live arts festivals including Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Sydney Festival, Brighton Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Adelaide Festival, Darwin Festival and Woodford Folk Festival. TV appearances include The Courtney Act Show on Channel 4 (UK), BBC Three's Live at the Electric (UK), ABC's Comedy Up Late (Australia) and NBC's Before The Morning After (US).
