Nachiket Samant

Nachiket Samant, an Indian filmmaker, made his feature directorial debut with Gachchi, a Marathi film. His presence on the organisation committee for the Pune International Film Festival introduced him to World cinema which enabled him to interact with international filmmakers, and eventually led to him assisting Marco Amenta, an Italian filmmaker. Nachiket's Hindi feature, Comedy Couple, produced by Saregama, released on ZEE5 in 2020. Nachiket's next Marathi feature. Habbadi, also produced by Saregama, premiered at the opening night of Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, 2020, and is expected to be released on the 18th of July, 2022. Nachiket is currently working on his next feature film.
