David Weber

David Mark Weber is a science fiction and fantasy author, known for the Starfire, 1632, War God, Safehold, and Honor Harrington series. His novels are known to have diplomatic and military aspects with strong characters. He attended Warren Wilson College for his undergraduate degree and attended graduate school (history) at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. He is a member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.
