Prasad Acharekar

Prasad Acharekar is born and Brought up in Mumbai. Done his education in Fine Arts - Drawing and Painting, (J.J. School of Art). He is now working as an Writer and Director of Films. He has done Two Marathi Films. Now he is working on his first Hindi film titled as Novel. He works specifically on Psychological Thrillers. His first film Akalpith was much talked about for being Remade in Hindi with cast like Randeep and Naseerudin Shah. Prasad Acharekar is Grandson of Renowned Artist and Production Designer Padmashree M. R. Acharekar, His uncle Shri Neeshikant Acharekar also was an Art Director at R. K. Studios known for his sets of Bobby and Raziya Sultan. Prasad is representing the Third Generation of Acharekar's service to the Hindi Film Industry.
