Jessie B. Evans is an actor, writer, and producer from the great city of Baltimore, MD. Jessie showed a knack for entertaining early on, often putting on shows in the living room for his family and charging them a small fee to attend. Although challenged with a rather troubling childhood, Jessie continued to beat the odds by excelling academically, winning several awards for acting, writing and original poetry, and even becoming a state-wide spelling bee champion. When Jessie felt that he was not getting the roles that he knew he could play he decided to write and produce his own. Jessie wrote, produced, and starred in a pilot called "Discovered" that aired locally in Baltimore as well as several other short films. As soon as he could he moved to Los Angeles where within a year he was able to sell TV Shows at the network level without the assistance of an agent or manager. Jessie has been regarded as a go-getter and a natural talent. Unable to afford acting classes he studied independently reading and learning as much as he could from the internet and acting books. He has been described as a "true chameleon with the depth of an actor many years his senior". In addition to several national commercials, a Netflix pilot where he portrayed a young Frank Lucas, and a short film he starred in that was short-listed for a BAFTA, Jessie makes sure to volunteer with young children and teenagers via the YPI program.
