Heather McKinnon

Heather McKinnon grew up in Plattsville, Ontario. Early on at the age of seven, McKinnon's parents felt it was a good idea to enroll her in Theatre Camp located at the Galt Little Theatre in Cambridge, Ontario. McKinnon spent every summer there until she was about twelve years old. McKinnon thrived on the ability to express herself through writing, costuming, and acting on stage. Though McKinnon dabbled in some theatre during High School, she never really felt challenged enough to keep pursuing it there. After dropping out of her first college program (Interior Decorating), McKinnon rediscovered her love of acting and decided it was time to really "shoot for the stars" so-to-speak. She attended Fanshawe College's Theatre Arts Program which she graduated from in 2010 with honors. McKinnon is driven to pursue her love of film-acting, as well as theatre-acting, which she desires to make her full-time career.
