Anne Daksha Raunkjær

Anne Daksha is an artist, performer and model. She was born on March 20, 1993, adopted from Mumbai, India and came to Denmark when she was 8 months old. She grew up in the countryside in a quiet neighborhood with her mom, dad and brother. Daksha started dancing when she was 3 years old and learned to sing and play flute from her musical father who is an accomplished banjo player. This exposure to music from a young age gave her a foundation sense of rhythm and timing, which has worked as quite an edge in her career so far. Ever since she was a child, songwriting, theatre, live performances, dance and singing has played a huge part in her life. In 2007-2008, Daksha got into The Royal Ballet School in Holstebro and performed in the musical Chicago, that they performed for a week in Dubai. She learned to act and combine dance and singing on a whole new level. In 2009, Daksha began to choreograph her own dance and movement pieces and started her own dance classes. It was in 2009 that she also met up with The Bombay Rockers and made her first short song with Thomas Sardorf called LOST. Daksha was also selected for the FC midtjylland cheer-leading squad was a Cheerleader there for over a year. But she had also other plans. She started her own event called Level 1 in collaboration with Rockstjernen in Herning. 2009-2010 was a great year for Daksha. She started at The Royal Ballet School after a break. She went to Birmingham with the school for dance and teaching kids. In 2010 she worked hard pushing further with her dance, which brought her to performing in music videos. The first video was Moses Malone - Club4free. Through the years she has been in a couple of other music videos. Daksha entered the Miss Jutland Competition in august 2010, made it to the top 3 most beautiful girls in Herning and to the top 11 most beautiful girls in Jutland. It was this turn of events that sparked her on going interests in modeling. In august 2011 Daksha entered the High School in Herning. She started writing for Herning Folkeblad/AOH Ctylife.dk where she is working as a reporter and interviewer. She loves to combine her performing skills of acting and dance at the same time, and getting creative with it. However, right now she is enjoying getting ready for a Kollywood movie.
