Angeline Armstrong is an Asian-Australian writer, director and musician telling diverse stories across multiple mediums. As an emerging screenwriter her first short film, 'Bathrooms' (writer/director) was selected for multiple international film festivals including Portland International Film Fest, Newport Beach Film Fest and LA Cinefest. After a 12-month stint in Los Angeles working in Film/TV development at both Nasser Entertainment and Shore Scripts, and freelancing as a note taker and development assistant (NBCUniversal, Starburns Industries, the ABC, Werner Films), Angeline returned to Australia where she developed two TV drama concepts and pilot screenplays, 'Echo' and 'The Saint', through Film Victoria's Plot Twist Labs. As a creative writer Angeline ghost wrote the creative non-fiction memoir/novel of an Iranian-Armenian woman living through the 1979 Iranian Revolution. As a short film and music video director Angeline's work has aired on Rage ABC, MTV Australia, and been recognized at local and international film festivals. As a songwriter, Angeline signed a songwriting publishing deal with BMG Records in 2019 and since 2021 has released two original EP records through Pointer Recordings/Remote Control Records as lead singer/songwriter of Telenova.
