Javon Jomo Jones is an Amerindian (Indigenous people of Guyana)-Guyanese actor. Born in Georgetown, Guyana then moved to Brooklyn, New York with his father at the age of six. Leaving behind his mother, Javon was forced to be strong and the only voice he heard in his head was "You have to become someone great so one day you can reunite and help your mother." This is the same voice that lead Javon into the film industry. In 2014 at the age of 16, Javon started a journey on his own out of his love and passion for acting to not only establish himself as an actor but one of the greats. He started by doing stand up comedy in local comedy clubs around New York City. That was cut short once he got his first taste of being on set. He went on to doing several short films, Little Man (2014) directed by Princeton Holt, B00 (2015) directed by Teresa Lu, The Cycle (2015) directed by Michael Marantz and many more. Perspective Chapter 2: The Misdemeanor (2016), is a VR short film directed by Rose Troche, in which Javon Played Shaun, was apart of Sundance Film Festival (2016) and Tribeca Film Festal (2016). He went on to landing small roles on shows such as, Falling Water (2016) and Seven Seconds (2018).
