Born in Umbria, near Assisi, after studying acting in Rome (where he lives), Milan and London, he began his career at 21 with two small roles in two popular Italian TV-series, "Amiche mie" (2008) and "La scelta di Laura" (2008). He went on getting lead roles in episodes of popular TV-series "Don Matteo" (2009) and "Rex" (2011). He co-starred in the TV-miniseries "Pupetta - Il coraggio e la passione" in 2013. He made his movie debut in 2009 with "Meno male che ci sei". In 2014 he co-starred in Liliana Cavani's "Francesco". He is bilingual in Italian and English. Michele also works in theatre (he starred in Romeo Castellucci's "Natura e origine della mente" in 2013; in 2015 he starred in Luca De Bei's "Nessuno muore" and was part of the main cast of Graham Vick's "Rise and fall of the city of Mahagonny"; he worked twice with renowned Italian director Liv Ferracchiati in 2016, starring in "Todi is a small town in the center of Italy" and in 2018, starring in "Commedia con schianto"). He is a professionally trained singer. In 2019 he entered the main cast of "Medici: The Magnificent" on Netflix, alongside Sean Bean, Daniel Sharman and Bradley James.
