Jose Alejandro Santillan was born in Callao, Peru, and grew up in the Lima until the age of 10, when his family migrated to the U.S. in 2000. As a teen Jose Alejandro grew up in Florida, graduating from Robert E. Lee High school in Jacksonville and later attending both University of South Florida in Tampa, and graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. His love for film and the arts came at a young age, watching films such as "The Mask" and "Star Wars" along with "Y Tu Mama Tambien". Jose is bi-lingual, and has worked on shows in the DMV area such as "House of Cards", "VEEP" and short independent films and music videos. He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artist (AFTRA).
