In early 1973, at age 8 (from January 19-April 20) Charlene Wong appeared on the Bobby Darin Show, then broadcast on NBC. Charlene had a rapport with Darin, so became a semi-regular, appearing on at least 6 episodes. Charlene would either sing with the chorus (as she did on the premiere episode, during the San Francisco tribute segment, singing the title song from "Flower Drum Song" -- "A Hundred Million Miracles") or more often, would join Bobby Darin onstage, sitting upon a couch (Charlene on a booster-seat), and chat, and sing a duet with Darin ("There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" on the March 9 episode).
