Pablo Sotomayor (Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean actor. He began his career by appearing in television & graphic commercials, after which he had recurring roles in many different TV series. He studied at several colleges, including The English Institute, where he participated in various theater workshops and which he graduated. The influence of his father was key because it taught him the art as part of their life and the observation of this. After college, in 1988 he entered to study civil engineering at Industrial Federico Santa María Technical University in Valparaiso, race to which he gave up in the third year to enter The Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, in 1993, study acting. He spent two years in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he discovered the vein of advertising model. He participated in various trade and photographs, both in Argentina and in Chile, being familiar face for long 7 years of Conaf as the fireman and many others. He acted in television (in different serials and soap operas) and in theater, such as "Antígona Furiosa" by Griselda Gambaro, "Las Brutas" by Juan Radrigán, "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe, "Pulseada Final" by Andres Seguel, "El Texto" by Michelle Romoleroux and "Aquí No Paga Nadie" adaptation of Dario Fo and directed by Roberto Valdés. In movies, he starred in "El Destello de la Luna" (Shining Moon), directed by Gustavo Letelier. He is in the implementation stage will be his first film script, acting and directing ("Foja Cero")
