Sean Allan Ellis was born on October 10, 1970 in Gary, Indiana. Displaying a passion for performance at an early age, Sean's first performances were with family and friends in his grandparents' living room in Portage, Indiana. Transplanted to the Southern Illinois/Western Kentucky area when he was 11, it wasn't until high school that he was able to pursue his passion in the theater department, with roles in "The Man Who Came To Dinner," "Grease," "Heaven Can Wait" and "The Fantasticks." Roles in his local professional theater included parts in "The Boys Next Door," "Poe's World," "Veronica's Room" and "Other Peoples' Money." In his early 20s, Sean took a sabbatical from acting to focus on music, a parallel passion. Having learned guitar, drums and bass, he played in a number of local bands, becoming a songwriter and producing and engineering his own recordings at home before discovering the Western Kentucky Indie film community in 2013. Beginning as an extra in "What A Pair," it wasn't long before he was offered and accepted the lead role of Nick Blake in "Another Chance." This led to an association with director-producer Brad Hodge which led to his involvement in "West Of Ventura," "12:07," and "Kaleidoscope," before writing and directing "Manic Pixie Dreams." A multi-talented entertainer, he resides in the Southern Illinois/Western Kentucky area.
