Johnny De Coensel and his brother Marc De Coensel are primarily known for playing association football players on the Flemish sitcom F.C. De Kampioenen (1990). De Coensel was a regular extra almost thirty years on the show itself and reprises the part of himself for four feature films between 2013 and 2019. Johnny was a defender just like his real-life brother. Along with Yves Lambrechts and André Willockx, he is the longest serving member on the fictional team's roster.
