Ashley R. Scott

Ashley Rene Scott was born on December 31, 1981 in Del Rio, Texas. Her dad, now a retired USAF Captain, was stationed at Sheppard Air Force base when she was two, and she spent the remainder of her childhood in Wichita Falls, Texas. Ashley fell in love with movies at a young age, when she would spend every weekend with her mom renting movies. When she wasn't watching movies she was a very avid reader and writing her own stories, dreaming of becoming a writer. It wasn't until she began working at a local news station, in both news production and creative services, and working on her own short film projects that she realized film was her true career passion. She left Texas and moved to Ellensburg, Washington to attend Central Washington University and pursue a degree in film production and screen writing. During her time in Washington, she worked on many student projects, wrote several screenplays and an original web series. She also dabbled in theatre which included lighting and special effects makeup. Just before she graduated she wrote and directed her first short film 3 Gobblers (2014). Ashley resides in Northern Nevada where she spends her time working as a creative producer on local commercials, bowling, writing new screenplays and working on the preproduction for her next short film. Liar's Dice is scheduled for production and release in 2016.
