Max Bessmertny

Max Bessmertny is an award winning director, screenwriter and producer. After directing short films for over 12 years, in 2022 Max shot his first feature film The Violin Case, inspired by a true story of when his father, a painter, left a painting in the back of a taxi. The film is set entirely in one night in Macau and is now in its final stages of post-production and aiming for a premiere at the end of 2023. Max has worked on numerous other full length screenplays, namely "Foreign Cop" which was selected by the Torino Film Lab to take part in its extended and creative producing workshops and was also part of the 2019 International Film Market in Macau. It was selected to be part of the Fantastic 7 Cannes Film Market in 2020.
