Dee LaMonte Perry

Dee Perry is a 24-year veteran of Buffalo theater and a television and radio talent with numerous commercial productions to his credit. Recent stage performances include Tom Robinson in To Kill a Mockingbird, Dr. Martin Luther King in The Meeting, Jacob Bridges in A Little Bit of Paradise, and Conrad Bremen in Interrogation Room. He plays the role of Otis Jackson in the television sitcom series The Church. Dee Perry was nominated for an Artie Award for best actor for his portrayal of Simon in The Whipping Man and honored with an Artie Award for best supporting actor for his interpretation of Paul Robeson in Mr. Rickey Calls a Meeting. In Sugar Wonder Blues, he reprises his role as Finch Walker which he played in the world premiere of the original stage production. Dee Perry is also an associate minister at Gethsemane Full Gospel Church in Buffalo and the proud father of two daughters, Jolie and Jayda.
