Born in May 1974, James Letteri is an automotive technician and actor originally from Meriden CT who grew up in Auburn, MA. He began his acting career as a teenager in a series of short films in which he played a character named "Goober" that had a bottomless stomach and wanted to trick-or-treat all year round. After a hiatus from acting in his 20's, Letteri returned to make a new Goober Halloween Special in 2008 and once again found himself bitten by the acting bug. In 2014, he played a bottom-of-the-barrel attorney in the Sleepaway Camp short film spin-off "Judy" featuring Karen Fields, the actress that portrayed "Judy" in the cult classic film "Sleepaway Camp" (1983). Letteri took on his first feature length movie role in "Ghoulish" (2018) a true-crime based story about an awkward man struggling with violent fantasies and a fascination with corpses. His first love is comedy, but after mesmerizing audiences with his haunting performance in "Ghoulish," Letteri found that he had a knack for playing bizarre dramatic characters with unusual plights.
