Nicholas J. Moore

With a background in public access television, Moore learned to edit at WCTV in his hometown of Richmond, Indiana. He utilized his editing skills, learning, and making money to put towards his own ideas. With a small film community, Moore relied on the few resources Indiana offered. In 2014 Moore began filming his first short; Roshtalivik: Hero of Time (2015). He spent the better half of the year working in the sci-fi short. Due to its length, the short was barely under the run-time to be considered a short film. Moore began writing to expand the idea into a short film trilogy; Roshtalivik: Before the Apocalypse (2015) and Roshtalivik: Aftermath (2016). Moore went on to produce other shorts for various festivals, before returning to the editing room to re-edit the Roshtalivik trilogy into a feature-length film. Roshtalivik (2016) was premiered on May 21, 2016, in Richmond, Indiana where it was entirely filmed. Roshtalivik (2016) awarded Moore a scholarship to film school, where he went on to improve his filmmaking. Now focused on producing, Moore has many ideas spread out the developmental stages.
