Carmen Araiza was born on January 31st, in León Guanajuato, Mexico. Her career in the entertaining industry began in Mexico City, in the early 1990s. The natural talent, entrepreneurial skills, relentless energy and curious nature helped Carmen to learn the ropes of production and achieve great success in national and international productions, which she headed or assisted. Carmen moved to Toronto, Canada, in 2001, in no time, Carmen easily adapted to her new life and once settled in Toronto, her curiosity to experience new cultures, languages, and food, made Carmen to live in Italy and France. In 2011, after years of traveling the world, she had finally decided to return and settle down in Toronto, a city she is madly in love with and which allows her to focus on her creative writing and now acting career. Carmen feels lucky and thrilled to live in Toronto, a city that has become the home of many Canadian and American productions, and the hosts of TIFF, one of the most important Film Festivals in the world. In 2013, Carmen landed her firsts acting roles in two American shows - "Copper and Warehouse13", and became the official Spanish Dialect Coach for Warehouse13's main cast and Sonia Braga and closed her successful year by playing a nurse in a Canadian TV Show "Saving Hope". Carmen excels as an actress, Spanish dialect coach, Script Translation, Creative Writer, International Home Cook, Visionary, and Entrepreneur - skills, which are portrayed throughout her work. She has shown to be dynamic and adaptable in a wide variety of work environments and boldly connecting with people. Her main goal is to build trust and respect, and to ultimately be recognized as an established actress, creative writer and producer. In 2022, Carmen is mastering her craft, auditioning, and writing her first script.
