Thomas Coppell

Thomas Coppell started out in television at Wellington company ProductionShed.TV as a teen, while studying for a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Studies at Victoria University. After assisting on several of the company's productions, they moved up to writing and production managing 105 episodes of preschool show Huhu, and producing the second season. Coppell now helms their own production company: Tomorrow, Rain, through which they've produced a slate of short films, factual projects and multiple scripted series, including Little Apocalypse, New Zealand's first children's drama by, for and about rainbow young people.
