David Treadway is a New Orleans multi-media artist, songwriter, director and producer. Hailed in the early stage of his career as an actor and a musician, Treadway was cast as the lead in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar with critical acclaim. As an artist himself and a product of a diverse range of musical styles such as Jazz, Blues, Dixieland, Pop, Rock and Funk, Treadway is a natural both as a solo artist and as a member of any team. He has also been prolific as a producer and engineer on the recorded works of other musicians. In addition to his own audio/video recordings, Treadway has engineered and/or produced music and videos for many acts. Sparked by his dissatisfaction with the quality of many audio/video studios, Treadway learned how to engineer and master his own recordings and since 1994 he has overseen production of all his solo recordings and those by DDTstudio. Other notable production credits include, Trouble - The Distortion Field, Magma Rise, Black Cap Miner, Devil's Highway, Millenium and many others. It was Treadway's love of music and video which lead him to his film making debut, an American success story about a legendary New Orleans music club and the diverse mix of musicians who graced it's stage, Jimmy's Music Club The Movie.
