Prathibha R. Shetty

Born into a traditional south Indian family, Prathibha is an Hollywood Actress and Talent Manager. She was a former Karnataka (Indian) State Sprint Queen with cham0pionships in 100M, 200M runs etc. Even though she rejected offers for Modeling and as Theater/ Drama Artist at a young age in favor of her passion in Sports, life had strange things in mind for her. After marriage, upon moving to Boston, New England she got very active in the Entertainment work with her allrounder husband Raghuram Shetty as much as joining hands in his social, cultural and major charity work round the clock. This lotus-eyed slim beauty made her debut performance in theaters in 1995 via the Play "kOla" written, Directed and showcased by Raghuram for a large North American crowd at Toledo, OH. She learnt the classical dances and advanced ancient Indian theater "Yakshagana" a dance-drama classical Performing Art from her husband who is also the pioneer of several of these East Indian independent theaters in the Western world especially America. She played diverse roles and characters in numerous diverse Plays, Musicals and Dance-Drama theaters and showcases across the USA. Many of her performances in classical and folk theaters won several awards across New England, Detroit, Florida, San Francisco and Los Angeles. These included long list of local and international organizations as much as major Universities across USA. Prathibha continued to play her role as housewife while coaching her elder two boys to develop as Junior Olympians in Track n' Field. All these while supporting her husband in various social, charity, diverse cultural and theatrical works round the clock. Upon both her elder sons winning International Acting Awards in Hollywood, she moved to Los Angeles along with her Family moved. Since then she has appeared in numerous Commercials / Advertisements for some major Brand names and prestigious firms like Google, New York Life, Samsung, Meta/FB, VRBO etc. She also appeared in 2022 Super Bowl Commercial aired during iconic pre-game show. While she continued her vibrant theater shows and Plays with her family she starred in several Short Films, Feature Films and TV / Web Series. She was also featured in wide variety of Internet videos, PSAs, Print Model and several Documentaries, Crime Files/Spy type movies and interviews in Hollywood. Interestingly upon moving to LA she also started as a Runway Model along with her sons. She is starring as 'Helen Damle' in the widely talked upcoming Feature Film #FamilyMan, where her family is starring as the Family of the 'Family Man' (her husband in real life). She's also the Founder and CEO of the Talent Management Organization named Prathibha Management in Hollywood. With her entire family being multi-talented Actors, vibrant Dancers / Singers / Performers and Sportsmen, with continued hard work in social / charity, yOga and educational front, she is everywhere with her family!
