Jared Malcolm

Jared Malcolm was born the day after Christmas in Camden, NJ to a Methodist pastor and a Registered Nurse. At the age of eight, his parents separated, and as a result, Jared became a restless child. At times, Jared's mother would take away his privileges including outside play, watching television and playing video games causing his interest in reading books and writing short stories/ screenplays to pique (R.L. Stein's 'Goosebumps' series became a major inspiration at the age of ten). After participating in a play in the fourth grade, Jared caught the performing arts bug. In high school he chose Speech and Drama 1 & 2 classes as a means to better understand his future craft. While focusing his efforts in these classes, Jared co-wrote and performed in a Christmas play, which entertained elementary school students in his hometown. In addition to being an actor, Jared is an accomplished Hip-Hop artist who goes by the name Jay Bourn. He has participated in a number of Hip-Hop shows, Open Mic events and talent shows. Jared is an ambitious, conscientious and flexible actor with a smile that can light up a room; demonstrating his sincere love for his profession.
