Elpida Stathatou

Elpida Stathatou is a Greek actress from Athens, Greece. She has completed her studies in acting in both Athens and London. She is a graduate of The Bridge Theatre Company. She is known for her theatre work with her one woman play on eating disorders called Stegosaurus. In 2019 she acted, wrote and produced her first short film, Omfalios (Umbilical). She is also the co-founder of the non profit organization Breaking Through the Lens. BTTL is a yearly initiative supporting female directors, taking place in Cannes Film Festival.
