Henry Czerwonka is an award-winning filmmaker from Cincinnati, Ohio. In 2015 he wrote and directed "After The Blitz" his first widely promoted short film at the age of 14. The film was the story of a young girl living in London during the Blitz attacks of World War II. "After The Blitz" was accepted into film festivals across the country and this launched him into a deeper love for filmmaking and cinema. In early 2017 he released his second widely promoted short film, "Seasonally Challenged" the story of a man who is unable to keep track of his seasons and holidays. The film was once again met with festival acclaim nationwide and won Best Original Screenplay at the Golden Lion Awards. Immediately after the success of "Seasonally Challenged" Henry began producing a feature film titled, "An Occasion For Time." The film was directed by Anthony Riggs and shot in late 2017 and is set for release in June of 2019. Following the production of "An Occasion For Time," Henry got to work writing his next short film and his most personal yet which would be titled "Paper Chains." The film follows a young girl searching for a friend on a school playground and the film is told through the visual metaphor of paper chains representing friendship and connection. The film was nominated for Best Student Film at the 2019 International Christian Film Festival in Orlando, Florida. Henry is writing his fourth short film, a sci-fi drama titled "Analog Rainbow" that will explore the themes of family, nostalgia, and mental illness. "Analog Rainbow" is set for public release in early 2020.
