Amrita Newton

Amrita newton has been performing on the stage since childhood, with favorite roles in Spring Awakening (Ilse), Coriolanus (Sicinia), once upon a mattress (Winnifred), and midsummer jersey (Nikki Bottom). Born in Palo Alto California to a German mother and Australian father, Amrita has always loved to travel and is excited to be performing in the Edinbourgh Fringe Festival in Scotland this August with The Interlochen Arts Academy. After her film debut in Dreams that Transcend All Boundaries directed by Mida Chu, she has made the decision to continue on to UCLA, studying electrical engineering and film. In the future, Amrita hopes to receive more experience in screen acting and to participate in as much film and television as she can.
