J.A. Blanco

-J. A. Blanco (José Antonio Blanco) studied film directing at the School of Image and Sound of Vigo (Pontevedra- Spain) in 2001. After releasing several short films, commercials and documentaries, work as assistant director on such series as "Rías baixas" or "Fíos " as assistant director in "Un bosque de música". -As co-director and editor in the docudrama: "Podrías ser ella" with Biznaga de plata awarded in 2012, -Directed four short films : "Silencio", "Estado", "Véndese. Baixo prezo. Pouco uso" and "Fumando espero". "Véndese" was selected at the Mestre Mateo Film Festival in 2015 and other 21 film festivals. Won the "Best dark comedy" at Moviescreen Pro Film Festival in 2017. -He has written and directed the documentary "Mar de Terra", starring Kepa Junkera, the musician. -He is currently in the pre-production phase of his new shortfilm: "Croques".
