Walter Shatley

Walter was born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma. He attended what was then the only High School in town, Norman High School and graduated in 1996. He then attended the University of Oklahoma on a Drama scholarship and graduated with a BFA in Drama with a performance emphasis with the class of 2000. Just after graduation he was asked to take part in the film "Making Arrangements" shot in Oklahoma City. After college Walter moved to Los Angeles for a short time before heading to NYC. He found steady work as an actor for several Children's Theater tours with Philadelphia's American Family Theater, and the Omaha Theater Company, known as the Rose Theater. It was during a tour that Walter met the love of his life, Samantha Shatley, at OTC's home base, the Rose Theater in Omaha. The two of them spent the next 9 months touring the country together with "The Berenstain Bears Live!" Since then, they both have gone on to perform in dozens of shows at the Rose Theater, deciding to make Omaha their home away from home. Through the connections made in the theater scene in Omaha Walter met like-minded individuals who began striking out into the independent film scene which began his involvement in films like "Bent Over Neal," and "Endor," and the short film "Ambush Avenue." Walter, his wife, and daughter live in Omaha, NE. He has 3 siblings and a brother from another mother in Norman, OK.
