Paul Provencher was born in 1996 in the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The son of a television producer and a translator, he grew up in several different cities and came back in Montreal in 2007. His interest in filmmaking quickly grew up, and in 2012 he attended the New York Film Academy summer camp, where he came back in 2013. He began shooting short films and videos regularly. In 2014, Paul released the 20 minutes-long documentary "The Camp", about a summer camp for underprivileged boys. It is at the conclusion of his first cycle post-secondary studies that he directed "Eleven Eleven". He is also involved in other artistic disciplines and performs as a musician (under the pseudonym Kirouac) and improv actor. Paul has recently graduated from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf in Arts and letters.
