Gabriel Perrone

Gabriel Perrone is director of film and audiovisual, Master in Cinema from the Portuguese Catholic University and PhD student in Cinema at Anhembi Morumbi University. Since his inception, he has worked in advertising, television and developed film, video and video art projects. He is an accredited professor of Film and Film Club at IFFS (International Federation of Film Societies) and Film and Education at DBCA (Brazilian Film and Audiovisual Directors). With 12 productions in his filmography, his works have been integrated and awarded in several national and international festivals. His latest short film Elegia do Amor (2018) has achieved international recognition, winning awards at festivals such as the 70th Berlin Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival 2018, Courts-Metrages Silhouette Festival, Shnit International Shortfilmfestival, FIIK - Kino Eye International Independent Film Festival, Évora Festival 2018, Azores Film Festival, Latin American Short Film Festival in Berlin, III Brazilian Film Series in Chicago, among others.
