Tom Pethick was born in Swindon, Wiltshire in 1996 and grew up just outside the town in the village of Wanborough. From a young age, Pethick enjoyed movie making, from short stop motion pieces for his classwork to comedy shorts with his friends, recording them in his attic on his fathers camera. At secondary school, he began taking parts in plays and school productions. By 18, he ran a small film production company, Epicentre Entertainment, and released his first short film "Delirium" in June 2014. He studied Film & History at the University of Southampton, taking part in student television station, SUSUtv. In his time as Director of Creative Production, he received a National Student Television Association (NaSTA) Award for Best Writing, and won three NaSTA People's Choice awards, one for On-Screen talent. Although foremost a director and writer, Pethick achieved critical and public acclaim for his debut performance on-stage at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in new show "Faith". The critics described his first international festival showing as "The Stand Out Performance" and "Truly Marvellous".
