Born in the ocean side city of St. Petersburg, Florida, this southern gentleman formed his music and theatrical roots by performing in church and school talent shows as a youth. At the age of 14 he started his own male acapella singing group, that often performed at school assemblies and dances. Michael learned the art of song and dance through his involvement in his high school show choir called Carolina Spirit. The show choir showcased many musicals at the school, even traveled to New York and Chicago where it won best high school show choir back to back years. This life of being on stage impressed a young Michael, as he considered a career in entertainment. Michael decided to head west to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of music and acting. In 2003 Michael was featured on Disney's Super Star Kidz album where he sang lead vocal on Juliet and It Happens Everytime. He continued his love for music by recording with local LA Hip Hop group The Rhetoricalz, and also recorded 2 independent albums titled Who is Michael and Animal. Michael's love for acting continued as he was cast in the role of Keith Mohoby , an up and coming stand up comedian in a 2006 Warner Brothers TV Pilot called Grasping At Straws. Stung by the comedy bug, Michael performed and many LA comedy spots including, The Comedy Store, The Improv, Room 5, and The Ice House. Michael started serious acting training under the direction of Choice Skinner at the Breaking Through Acting Class. Through the talented and industry savvy coach Choice Skinner, Michael began crafting his acting to become more powerful. He was soon casted in Choice Skinner's Keep The Faith. And also casted in Jacob Stone. Michael gives thanks and credit to Breaking Through Acting Class, to even be considered for the roles. The future looks bright for Michael, as he looks for roles and characters he can bring his life and depth to. Looking to mold his musical,comedic, and theatrical talents, in many up and coming projects.
