Originally from the south of France, Mickaël studied at "Les Beaux Arts" the most prestigious French Art school. He started his career as an illustrator and made his way up the professional ladder as a creative director for various multimedia companies. He embraces a new career as a musician in London in 2008, playing in a cover band and creating "The Fancy Toys" with drummer James Anderson. The band received moderate success in the UK and even gained a top 10 in the Icelandic charts. Mickaël creates his first video work producing music videos for the band. When the band split, Mickaël became seriously involved with video work which is for him a great way to mix the arts. The Visual + Musical combination results in his new passion for writing stories. He directs several advertising and music videos and trains himself in writing, producing, directing and editing his first movies. He heads to South America where he gets commissioned to produce tourism web series, all around Colombia and Brazil. He contributes to the Arte Channel mini series "Le Brésil par la Côte" and creates his first movies: "A Tramp in Eden" (2014), an homage to Charlie Chaplin, "Beetle Eyes" (2015) a surreal story about a paraplegic little girl dreaming of freedom and "Agora" (2016), a poetic documentary about a climber that turns into a metaphor of life. His work has been selected and awarded by over 60 festivals around the World.
