Christian Nolan Jones is an Atlanta bred filmmaker living in Harlem, NY. He harnessed his storytelling abilities at Howard University & Tisch School of the Arts. In his personal work, Christian seeks to create pieces pertaining to the human condition. His highly anticipated short film Brown With Blue received support from hip-hop legend and film producer Common, and recently Best Local Short at the Atlanta Underground Film Festival. It was also an official selection in the Atlanta Film Festival. His initial short, Print Shop (2017), is screening in festivals & communities across the country. Christian frequently directs & produces music videos for artists such as A Boogie, French Montana, & Cam'ron. He's also produced digital content for illustrious brands such as Club Monaco, Samsung, 1800 Tequila, and Revlon. He's recently been accepted into the HBO Visiting Director's Fellowship, in which he's been given the opportunity to study the techniques and expertise of HBO's roster of TV directors. He prides himself on working with the next generation of artists to find their voices. He's demonstrated this as a Fellow with Black Public Media and working as the Lead Youth Producer at Manhattan Neighborhood Network. Most recently, Christian taught at two mobile-media workshops in Harlem and the Bronx through a grant from the NYC Department of Probation and Carnegie Hall's NeON Arts Program.
