Valeria Sweet is a storyteller on screen, creator off screen, and an award-winning producer. She is known for romantic dramas and action thrillers. Femininely charismatic, she plays romantic leads, agents provocateurs, and double agents. Compared to Natalie Portman and Audrey Hepburn, she's described as a natural-born film actress. "You don't see the work because it disappears into her, it blends in. The camera loves her and she knows where she is in the frame at all times," Chris Game, CD/Director. She was born in the city of Kazan, Russia, where East meets West. Having grown up in US, she retains fluent Russian, which she spoke in the feature Lubov v Gorode Angelov of Sarik Andreasyan (American Heist) and Rob Riggle's Loaded Vodka commercial. Her knowledge of Spanish lead to playing Latinas in Jane the Virgin and Mayans M.C., and she knows a little bit of Tatar. Her other skills include hand-to-hand stage combat, precision driving, boxing, and on-set gun handling. Her experience in love coaching and interest in fateful connections helped her showrunning aspirations. She created series Elle For Love and Red String of Fate, based on her two relationship books, "The Most Wanted One In the World" and "Book of Soulmates". Valeria's fascination with all things art, 1800s, and young adult television, gave rise to the aesthetics of the mystery series Contenders of the Last Will, which she based on her high school experience. Filmmaking helps her in acting because she's able to protect the writer's/director's vision and help out with production when needed. As a writer, director, and creative producer, Valeria stands for diversity in casting and diversifying crews. Works she's produced and directed have won at Burbank International Film Festival, Los Angeles Movie Awards, US Hollywood Int'l Golden Film Award, Independent Talents International Film Festival, and Las Vegas International Film & Screenwriting Festival.
