Matt Laydon is a Los Angeles-based actor who was born and raised in Michigan's Upper Peninsula where he began his acting career in the local theater. After graduating from Iron Mountain High School, where he was a Michigan state champion tennis player and all-state wrestler, Matt attended Michigan State University. There, he studied Finance, was a member of the wrestling team and was an active member of the Delta Chi fraternity. He then went on to receive his law degree and MBA from Indiana University in Bloomington. In 2014, Matt left his law firm job in Indiana, where he had begun a return to local theater, and moved to Los Angeles to focus on acting. Since that time, he has appeared in approximately 30 films and television shows. Outside of acting, Matt received his California law license in 2017 and continues to practice, as time permits. When not working or studying his craft with Doug Warhit, Matt's greatest passions include the Green Bay Packers, Notre Dame, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Red Wings, Backstreet Boys, golfing and playing tennis.
