Lauro Rocha

Lauro Rocha had a unique upbringing, having lived in both Baja California, Mexico and San Diego, USA. As a Mexican-American, he experienced two varied lifestyles: on the side of the border closer to the United States he was often surrounded by predominantly white people; while south of the border his father was labeled one of LA Times' Most Wanted. He ultimately managed to bridge both worlds with grace. Lauro obtained his degree in film production from the School of Film and Television at San Diego State University. He began his professional life as a stage actor, having studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. His career is marked by a strong commitment to excellence, evidenced throughout his body of work.Lauro then pursued additional independent works and acquired a Master of Fine Arts in Film Producing from the distinguished American Film Institute Conservatory in 2021
